The image renders of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5s has been reportedly leaked suggesting that the device will flaunt a dual-camera setup. According to reports coming in, Samsung was supposed to start the supply of dual camera module components to Xiaomi and LeEco by th end of July. If this rumor is to be believed then you can expect a dual camera setup in the upcoming device.
Earlier, there were reports that the Xiaomi Mi 5s will feature a “Force Touch Screen”, which is similar to that of Apple’s 3D touch. There are also reports that Xiaomi Mi 5s will integrate Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Expected to be released in August, the smartphone will bear 6GB RAM with both 32GB and 128GB internal storage variants.
In addition to Xiaomi Mi 5s, the company is also expected to release Xiaomi Mi Note 2 in three variants such as standard, high, and top-end.
While the standard variant will feature single rear camera setup including Hi-Fi chip with support for quick charging, the high model of Mi Note 2 is expected to ship with a dual camera setup at the rear.
Xiaomi declined to comment when contacted about the upcoming Mi 5s and Mi Note 2. Hence, the above leaks are only rumors and more details will emerge as time progresses.
