Hyundai is gearing up to launch a new Compact SUV in India before Q2 2019. The upcoming SUV falls under the budget segment and will be placed next to Creta SUV.
Initially, Hyundai had planned to develop a sub-4 meter SUV at the 2016 Auto Expo in Noida. During the vent, the company showcased a concept named Carlino. The forthcoming SUV will make use of designs from the Carlino concept. However, the new vehicle will be manufactured withadequate strength and durability in such a way to suit production requirements.
According to Hyundai, the main reason for the launch of SUV segment is the growing need of SUV’s in India. The company has already revealed the third-gen Tucson in the country. It stands in between the Creta and the Santa Fe.
