Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be launched on January 19. The company has teased the official launch of the Redmi Note 4 on its official site and social media platforms.

Dubbed as Flipkart exclusive, Manu Kumar Jain who is the head of Mi India has confirmed via Twitter that the Redmi Note 4 will be launched on January 19. This has put an end to all the speculations.

Launched in August 2016, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in both 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants. While the 2GB RAM model is equipped with 16GB internal storage at CNY 899, the 3GB RAM offers 64GB storage at CNY 1199. Mathematically, the price equates to Rs. 9000 and Rs. 12000 respectively.

The main attraction of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the integration of metal build coupled with Helio X20 processor. However, there are reports that the company is planning to launch a Snapdragon variant in India. The phone will feature a fingerprint sensor integrated with an infrared sensor.

Expected to be available in Gold, Grey, and Silver colour variants, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 flaunts a 5.5-inch FHD 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel density of 401 PPI. The handset will be loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The rear camera will feature a 13MP sensor coupled with a f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. On the front, the phone will sport a 5MP sensor with an 85-degree wide angle lens. You will be able to extend the storage up to 128GB.

In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Redmi Note 4 will provide support for GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB and Glonass. Powered by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support, the phone measures 175 grams in weight.

The company will reveal the pricing and availability of the handset during the launch event. We expect Flipkart to conduct a series of flash sales to begin with followed by open sale during festive days such as Independence Day.
