If rumors are to be believed, Alcatel 5090 will be launched within the next few days with a 5.5-inch FHD display. The news assumes importance with the smartphone finding the place on the GFXBench benchmarking site.
According to the GFXBench listing, the Alcatel 5090 will feature a 5.5-inch FHD display, MediaTek MT6750T processor, ARM Mali-T860 graphics processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat.
If you look at the GFXBench listing, the RAM is mentioned as 3.8GB and storage capacity as 24GB. However, the trend is normal because the benchmarking sites have the habit of listing the trimmed specifications.
While the rear camera will be equipped with a 16MP sensor, the front-facing shooter offers 8MP sensor. You can capture 4K images and 3K videos using the rear camera. However, you will be able to capture 3K images and 1K video using the selfie snapper.
The rear camera provides support for autofocus, face detection, flash, HDR photo and touch focus. If you verify the GFXBench listing, you can find 1MP less in the rear and front camera sensor.
The listing doesn’t mention any information about the battery capacity. Even though the phone ships with Android 7.0 Nougat, the benchmarking data mentions Android Alcatel Edition. Hence, you can expect a specially designed UI.
As of writing this, we don’t have any information about the estimated launch date. However, with GFXBench keeping track of the Alcatel phone, you can expect an imminent availability.
