A new ZTE smartphone dubbed with model number ZTE Z971 has passed the US FCC. With FCC ID SRQ-Z971, the rumored ZTE handset has been tagged with hardware version Z971HW1.0.
Moreover, the FCC papers also reveal the IMEI number of the phone alongside SKU 6028B. Moreover, the serial number has been marked with the character ‘X’. On the extreme bottom corner, you can spot the BC label with the product being made in China.
As of this writing, we are unable to find any other information other than the above-mentioned information. With the clearance of the new ZTE smartphone by the US FCC, we can expect the imminent arrival of the handset. We don’t have any idea about the rumored specifications of the handset but we infer that it could be a budget handset.
Interestingly, ZTE Blade L7 surfaced on Wi-Fi Alliance loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Hence, the upcoming device will be an improvement over ZTE Blade L6, which shipped with Android Lollipop.
