Xiaomi Mi Max

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has cleared National Communications Commission (NCC) with the model number MDE40. According to blog of mobile, a new smartphone with the model MDE40 has passed NCC. The title states that the model looks like Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and the rear side of the handset is published.

With the clearance of the rumored smartphone by the NCC, you can expect an imminent launch. Based on reports, the Lei Jun-owned company will launch Mi Max 2 on May 25.

With Certification number CCAF174G0200T0, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 provides support for a wide range of mobile network such as FDD-LTE 2600 (B7), 1800 (B3), 900 (B8) MHz, TD-LTE 2600 (B38), 2500 (B41) MHz, W-CDMA 2100 (I) MHz, and GSM 1800/900 MHz. Moreover, the smartphone also passed through Bluetooth and Wireless LAN.

With the NCC certification, we can infer that the Mi Max 2 is all set for launch at the scheduled time and date. You should note that MDE40 is a terminal model number, which is unpublished.

While the Pro model will ship with 128GB storage, the standard version will have 64GB storage. Moreover, the capacity of the camera sensor will be larger than the currently available Xiaomi Mi Max.

We can confirm that Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will ship with Android Nougat. However, there are conflicting reports about the version number. Since Xiaomi has already started the Nougat beta preview program, you can expect Android 7.0 Nougat followed by a stable release of Android 7.1 Nougat. You need not have to expect MIUI 9 with the handset. We expect Xiaomi to push MIUI 9 towards the middle of August 2017.
