How do I download e-mails using Microsoft Outlook 2010?


With the help of Microsoft Outlook 2010, you can directly download  your e-mails to your system if you follow the steps listed below.

STEP 1

Go to File Menu and click Add Account button. The Add New Account dialog will be displayed as shown below

STEP 2

Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types option. You will view a screen as shown below

STEP 3

Select Internet E-mail option, select Next button and provide the required details as shown below

You have to substitute testdemo.com with your domain name. If you prefer you can test the account settings by clicking Test Account Settings button.

STEP 4

Select More Settings button and provide a descriptive name. Select Outgoing Server tab and check mark My outgoing server requires authentication check box.

You should view a dialog box as shown below upon clicking Next button. This indicates that you have successfully configured your e-mail id in Outlook 2010.

If everything goes on well you can be able to send and receive emails without any difficulty.
