LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro, Le Max 2 with USB Type C Audio and VR headset support launched in China

LeEco has announced the launch of full metal unibody Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 at the launch event held in China.

LeEco, the company which is set to disrupt the technology world is currently announcing a wide range of products at a launch event in China. The company has unveiled a new digital architecture to present authentic audio experience.
Moreover, the company has announced the launch of full metal unibody Le 2 & Le 2 Pro with 5.5-inch FHD display. The Le Max 2, on the other hand, features a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6GB of RAM & 64GB internal storage.

The main difference between Le 2 and Le 2 Pro is the addition of VR headset support. The launch event also showcased a demonstration of the upcoming Le 2 Pro with details overview of the features included with the headset.

The rear side of the device features a new LeEco logo with camera and fingerprint scanner above it.


At the launch event, LeEco demonstrated the unique manufacturing process employed by the company to build Le 2. While explaining the features of Le Max 2, the company compared the specs with iPhone.

Le 2 Specifications – Helio X20 tri-cluster deca-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, 16MP rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture, 8MP selfie camera on the front, 3,000mAh battery, fast charging support, fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE with VoLTE.

The launch event, for the first time also witnessed a singing event by a reputed Chinese singer to spice up the viewers, which was indeed recorded by the Le 2. The company then broadcasted the audio live to the audience to show the real features included with the device.

Attended by a large number of technology geeks and journalists, the LeEco launch event was witnessed by the fans worldwide through YouTube live streaming.

We don’t have any information as to when LeEco will launch Le 2, Le 2 Pro, Le Max 2 in India.
