Lenovo Z1 is expected to launch in India on May 10. Funded by Lenovo, the smartphone is actually called ZUK Z1, which has been branded under Lenovo tag for Indian market.
The main attraction of Lenovo Z1 is the integration of Cyanogen OS 12.1 out of the box based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Expected to be packed with Cyanogen’s special Android-based software, the Lenovo Z1 also includes the various software customizations.
On the specifications front, the Lenovo Z1 features a 5.5-inch FHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. While the main camera features a 13MP SONY IMX214 camera, the front-facing shooter is equipped with an 8MP sensor.
Talking about connectivity, the Lenovo Z1 offers 4G radios, Bluetooth, GPS, fast charging technology, fingerprint sensor and Wi-Fi. A 4100mAh battery completes the package. We expect Lenovo to roll out Android Marshmallow in the upcoming months.
