Facebook is celebrating Mother’s day in a big way by introducing a new feature to enable users to send floral decorated greetings to their mothers via Messenger. This facility is active in 82 countries including India and will be available till May 9.
You will view a new purple flower icon in Messenger from May 7 to May 9. You need to tap on the flower and decorate it with text content, photos and GIFs. If your mother has a Facebook account then she will be able to view the flower on her Messenger provides if she make use of Messenger app.
Commenting on the development, Facebook disclosed that the company hopes to enjoy Mother’s day with users who love to gift their mothers with special surprises. It’s time to thank Mothers on this occassion and the company says that this will attempt to spread the message of peace and properity.
Dubbed as motherly love, Facebook also introduced new stickers just for Mother’s Day.
