RJio LYF Wind 4 smartphone is expected to be launched soon at Rs. 6799. This device will be the entry level device as the company is gearing towards the launch of its 4G services.
On the specifications front, the RJio LYF Wind 4 features a 5-inch display, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 4000mAh battery coupled with Digital DTS Surround technology.
While the rear camera flaunts a 8MP senor, the front-facing shooter is equipped with a 2MP sensor, which is less than other competing devices. Moreover, the device includes high definition voice calling over (VoLTE) Voice Over Long Term Evolution facility.
According to Brokerage analyst firm CLSA, Reliance Retail’s LYF smartphone could become a USD one billion brand in 2016-17 with an overall market share of about 7 percent.
However, the success of LYF smartphones depend upon the launch of 4G services and its reach among customers.
