HTC 10 to launch with Snapdragon 820 in India on May 26

HTC 10 is expected to be launched in India on May 26. The company has sent out media invites and is believed that the new smartphone will be available in all retail stores soon.

On the specifications front, the HTC 10 features a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM including 32GB or 64GB internal storage variants, which is expandable to up to 2TB using microSD card slot.

While the primary camera offers a 12MP UltraPixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture, laser AF and OIS along with a dual LED flash, the front-facing shooter is accompanied with a 5MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, AF, including OIS. The main attraction of HTC 10 is the integration of a Screen Flash feature for selfies shot in the low light.

Talking about sound segment, the HTC 10 will repordedly ship with BoomSound audio technology with Dolby Audio support. The smartphone features a dual speaker layout with a dedicated amplifier.

Even though HTC had mentioned that the smartphone comes with Snapdragon 652 processor shortly after the international launch, the company corrected the mistake and confirmed the presence of Snapdragon 820.
