Nextbit Robin has been officially launched in India for Rs. 19999 and will be available from May 30. Dubbed as cloud first Android smartphone, the device is designed with a soft-touch polycarbonate body.
Commenting on the launch, Tom Moss, CEO and co-founder of Nextbit revealed that the smartphone’s premium design and performance are a natural fit for a demanding market like India. Our commitment to fast OS updates and smart storage is perfect for people who constantly want more from their phone.
On the speciications front, the Nextbit Robin features a 5.2-inch FHD IPS Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage including support for fast charging technology.
While the main camera features a 13MP sensor with LED Flash, the front-facing snapper is equipped with a 5MP sensor. Moreover, the Nextbit Robin also offers a fingerprint sensor, dual speakers with amplifiers in addition to a 2680mAh battery.
Responding to media, Shankar Parasaram, Head of India operations, Nextbit systems revealed that with the unique combination of premium design, smart storage and near stock Android experience we can connect with aspirational values of Indian users while addressing the storage limitations.
Loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the company is offering free 100GB cloud storage including dual front-facing speakers with audio enhancements by Arkamys.
