It’s official and confirmed. Xiaomi Mi Band 2 will be available for sale from June 7. Previously, Jun Lei showcased a sneak preview of the band and was scheduled to launch the gadget on May 10 but was postponed to June 8. Along with Mi Band 2, Xiaomi is also expected to launch Mi Max and MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow.
You should remember that Mi Band 2 will be launched in China initially but will be available in India soon. On the features front, the Mi Bad 2 features an LED display including a physical home button. The band will have a rubber strap similar to that of th original Mi Band with a wide range of colors. Moreover, the Mi Band 2 also offers a heart-rate sensor and pedometer.
As of writing this, we have plenty of bands and fitness trackers. The ultimate success of Mi Band 2 will depend upon the price fixation. We feel that a smart pricing strategy will attract young people.
