Reliance Jio has started to accept trial registrations for their upcoming 4G services. Although Reliance has not confirmed that they will provide services to all people, we can expect the company to provide trial offers as and when the service is available.
You need to visit the website (Jio.com), provide the required details and wait for a confirmation call from the company.
Reliance has also disclosed the availability of a wide range of apps such as MyJio, JioChat, JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioMags, JioXpressNews, JioDrive, JioJoin, JioMoney in addition to JioSecurity. While the JioChat Messenger app is an instant messaging app, the JioSecurity app offer mobile security. Meanwhile, JioPlay enables you to watch content from TV and io XpressNews is a news and magazine aggregation app.
With JioMoney, you will be able to enable users to recharge and do other payment related functions. The Reliance JioJoin, on the other hand, features Skype like video chat app that enables non-VoLTE smartphones to make HD voice as well as video calls.
In May, Reliance employees could invite their friends and families to join the 4G service program via an employee referral program. As per the package, users were offered up to 10GB free voice and data for three months.
Earlier, Reliance Jio announced the commercial availability of its 4G telecom services in second half of 2016. As of writing this, Reliance Jio’s 4G services are available to approximately 120,000 employees including their families and business partners.
