In a sudden development, Mark Zuckerberg’s official Twitter and Pinterest accounts were allegedly hacked by a hacker group. According to the group, they obtained passwords from his 2012 LinkedIn account.
Identified as OurMine Team, the hacker group has around 40000 Twitter followers. They posted a tweet from his page with – “Hey @finkd, you were in Linkedin Database with the password dadada !, the team wrote from Zuckerbergs Twitter page. On his Pinterest, the new title was “Hacked by OurMine Team.”
Incidentally, the group claimed that the password leaked through a massive data vulnerability on LinkedIn in 2012 exposing crucial details of nearly 170 million users. The password used by Zuckerbeg for his Twitter account was possibly “dadada”.
Interestingly, Zuckerberg has not tweeted since 2012. In another tweet, OurMine revealed that it also breached his Instagram account but later deleted it.
Reacting positively, Twitter had suspended the OneMine’s Twiiter account and Pinterest has restored Zuckerbergs page, thus bringing back its glory.
OneMine, which hacked Zuckerberg’s Twitter account has revealed that they have compromised several high-profile accounts, which includes Bill Gates.
