Mark Zuckerberg taped his laptop Webcam

To celebrate 500 million monthly active users on Instagram, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently shared a fun picture where he is seen holding a wooden frame in the background.

Commenting on the development, Chris Olsen who is known by the Twitter name “Lo and behold” revealed that Zuckerberg covers the webcam of his laptop with a tape. If you look at the image closely, it was seen that he used taped his laptops microphone as well.

Since advanced and sophisticated hackers are able to take advanage of a laptop’s camera, it looks like Zuckerberg is ensuring he doesn’t fall prey to any unwanted activity. Thta’s why he is putting a tape on his Macbook’s camera and audio jack.

A leading tech portal confirmed that it is indeed the desk of Facebook CEO since he reportedly gave a tour of the same in a Facebook Live video some months ago. As a CEO of leading company, Zuckerberg wants to maintain his privacy.
