Samsung has introduced the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo smartphone in South Africa. Even though there is no official confirmation about its availability, the handset is currently listed in Black, Blue, and White colours. Samsung has launched the Galaxy J1 Ace just few days after the official launch of the Galaxy J2 (2016) and Galaxy J Max.
Equipped with a 4.3-inch SAMOLED display, the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo features a 1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM coupled with 8GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 128GB.
While the rear camera offers a 5-megapixel autofocus sensor, the front-facing snapper ships with 2-megapixel sensor. The device also provides support for 4G LTE in addition to GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ Glonass, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
Powered by a 1900mAh removable battery, the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo weighs 131 grams with a thickness of 9.5mm. Like all other Galaxy J series smartphones, the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo also ships with Ultra Power Saving Mode.
Earlier, Samsung launched Galaxy J2 (2016) and Galaxy J Max tablet at Rs. 9750 and Rs. 13400 respectively with smart glow , which is the next generation LED notification system for messages and alerts.
