After a resounding success with three flash sales of Le 2, LeEco has thrown open the device on an open sale from the midnight of July 14. This means, when your clock ticks 12 AM on July 14, you will be able to purchase the device without any registration.
LeEco has decided to retain the cost, which is Rs. 11999, although we hope that there will be discounts during the upcoming Big Shopping Days on te eve of India’s independence day.
We are not sure whether LeEco will provide free CDLA earphones. However, we expect them to provide freebies during special sales.
With the open sale of Le 2, LeEco doesn’t have any product which is likely to go for a flash sale. The company needs to release a new phone to introduce another flash sale.
We feel that LeEco can release the products on open sale from Day 1. But to get a buzz, companies like LeEco and Xiaomi are conducting flash sale for a limited period of time.
On the specifications front, Le 2 features a 5.5-inch IPS display, 3GB RAM, 32GB non-expandable storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing snapper, 3000mAh battery loaded with EUI on top of Android Marshmallow.
On June 13, Xiaomi had made available the recently released Mi Max on open sale after a single flash sale. This is followed by making the device availableon Flipkart, Amazon, PayTm and Tata Cliq.
