Huawei has posted a 40% sharp increase in sales revenue for the first half of 2016 (January to June) when compared to the same period in 2015. With $36.8 billion revenue, profits went down to 12 percent in H1 2016 compared to 18 percent.
We don’t have any estimates regarding the total number of smartphones, tablets and smartwatches the company managed to shipfor the period. If you look at H1 205, the company shipped 48.2 million devices globally.
Commenting on the development, Huawei’s Chief Financial Officer Sabrina Meng added that the spirits are high at the company to maintain a strong momentum.
We are not sure whether the above figures include revenues from their subsidiary – Honor. In January 2016, Huawei had set a revenue target of $75 billion for 2016.
