Amazon India has introduced is flagship service, Amazon Prime in India at Rs. 499 per year. You can try the service for free for 2 months and after that you can extend the service by paying the required amount.

Hence, all customers who have signed up for Amazon Prime today will have to pay Rs. 499 around September last week if they would like to continue with the service. Amazon Prime offers unlimited free one-day and two-day deliveries. Moreover, it also offers free delivery on any order value.

Currently, you will have to pay Rs. 40 extra if you place an order for a product less than Rs. 499. By joining Amazon prime, you need not have to pay shipping charges each and every time. This will be very useful for regular Amazon shoppers. However, if you buy once in 4 or 5 months, then Amazon Prime will not be of much use if you order products above Rs. 500.
