LeEco will launch a wide range of flagship super TV sets in India on August 4 at a launch event to be held in New Delhi. According to reports, the LeEco super TV will be equipped with a powerful Cortex A17 processor to provide support for gaming and high-definition television channels.
The company has already mailed media invites to all leading publications including tweeting about the launch of LeEco super TV. The launch teaser sports a giant LED display placed alongside a smartphone. It also showcases a small fish on the smartphone, which turns into a big shark when viewed on the TV display.
Commenting on the launch, LeEco sources disclosed that the new TV will set new benchmarks in the Indian Television market with the integration of a powerful processor. The company also stated that all major competitors make use of either an ARM Cortex A9 or A7 processor.
LeEco Super TV specifications
Even though the company has not yet revealed the specifications of the LeEco super TV, the rumor mills did specify that the new TV will ship in 40-inch and 43-inch display variants, ARM Cortex A17 processor, Mali T720 GPU coupled with Dolby Digital Plus.
The TV will also feature a web camera situated on the top of the display. We can also expect the launch of 50-inch TV, which is already available in China.
LeEco will most likely launch X series Full HD and Max series Split models in India with the possibility of X series 4K variant. However, the Full HD model is available from CNY 1599 with Mstar6A938 processor and Mali T820 processor.
We verified the LeEco China’s official portal but we are unable to find any TV with Cortex A17 processor and Mali T720 graphics. There is also a possibility for the company to launch new TV models exclusively for India.
Moreover, the web-based ecosystem TV will likely offer 3GB RAM and 16GB of flash memory to enhance the viewing experience of users by providing lag free performance.
LeEco super TV will also ship with professional MACE PRO4 image processor, which maintains frame-to-frame coherence. This will avoid unnecessary image trailing during the broadcast of sporting events such as Football and Cricket.
A top company official, who declined to reveal the identity shared with us that Televisions are no longer used to just watch soaps, movies and song. They can also be used as a gaming console and entertainment hub. Hence, the need for a powerful processor and graphics is of utmost importance.
According to sources, the new LeEco super TV will be manufactured in such a way to guarantee precision, smooth streaming in addition to excellent image clarity. This will help you to not only watch fast motion sequences but also can easily multitask with apps and games.
