TripIt mobile app gets better by adding refreshed features for Android 5.0 and iOS 8. The latest release of TripIt mobile app sports new look and feel for itineraries. As a traveller, you will be able to view itineraries in a timeline view that shows where they are within their trip and what’s coming up next.
You will be able to view the most important trip details such as flight or confirmation numbers directly from within the timeline. The new version also includes a new layover summary that tells travelers how much time they have until their connecting flight takes off.
With the help of the latest enhancements, travelers will be able to view color-coded flight information. You will be able to know whether the flight is on time, delayed or cancelled. However, this feature is applicable only for TripIt Pro users.
While the new floating action button enables you to quickly add a trip or a new plan in Android, the same button will help you to add or edit your travel plans for users in iOS platform.
TripIt mobile app has been refreshed to change the way the travelers fetch information from within the app. With the help of the navigation bar located at the bottom of the display, you will be able to quickly jump to view information you require. This could be either an alert just received or viewing the details of your next trip.
If you verify the navigation menu, you will view that TripIt mobile app has integrated options such as Trips, Alerts, Unfiled Items, and Profile.
