Google Play Music officially available in India

Google Play Music, which is already available in several countries  is officially available in India at Rs. 15 per track. Google didn’t made any announcements regarding the music store on September 27. However, the company confirmed the launch of the service on September 28.

Inside Google Play Music, you will find charts listing the top songs, albums including new releases. You will find a wide range of categories such as Best of Bollywood, Indian Pop Hits, For the Kids and International Music including sections for regional languages like Tamil and Telugu.

It is also possible to preview tracks and pay for them using the displayed details or fingerprint associated with your Google account and Android device.

As of writing this, Google Play Music doesn’t offer radio, unlimited streaming, podcasts, a family plan or even genre-based charts. However, they will be rolled out in a timely fashion. The Google Play Music is currently available on Android and the web in India with support for iOS soon.

Google launched YouTube Go, a new data-saving feature on Chrome on September 27. Moreover, Google Allow app will get a big refresh with Hindi version. Furthermore, Google is also planning to open public Wi-Fi spots across the world.
