Just when Samsung is having a turbulent times with the suspension of Galaxy Note 7 handsets, the company has started to tease Galaxy C9 in China. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy C9 features a 6 inch display coupled with a metal design body.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy C9 is powered by a 4000mAh battery and will be launched in China initially. It will be followed by launches in the US and Europe.
Samsung started to tease Galaxy C9 over its Weibo account. It reveals 6GB RAM. If this report turns out to be true, you can expect the Galaxy C9 to be the first smartphone to ship with 6GB RAM. The teaser reveals a metal unibody design with great grip body.
The content on the teaser reads – “The next big thing is coming.” The render displays a handset design with refreshed
antenna lines. We infer that the big here will mean a large display – may be more than 6-inch. Even though Samsung hasn’t revealed the name of the phone, we can guess it as Galaxy C9.
Since the Samsung Galaxy C9 has been cerfified by the FCC, the ultimate launch of the handset looks imminent. On the specifications front, the Galaxy C9 features a 6-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 652 processor, 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage.
While the rear camera is equipped with a 16MP sensor, the front-facing snapper also features the same capacity sensor. The handset is loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on top of TouchWiz UI.
The company hasn’t launched Galaxy C series in India and hence it is highly unlikely that you will be able to buy Galaxy C9 in India. However, there is a possibility that the company will rename the phone and launch in India.
