BlackBerry DTEK60 scheduled to released on October 25

According to reports, BlackBerry DTEK60 is expected to be released on October 25. However, there is no official
communication from BlackBerry about when the upcoming DTEK60 model will be released.

Based on a new report from a popular tech portal, a new listing on German Media Market shows the TCL-built BlackBerry device in question with a price tag of around $499. Moreover, the new BlackBerry DTEK60 will be initially launched in the US, Europe and Canada starting on October 25.

According to industry analysts, the BlackBerry DTEK60 will be the first premium flagship smartphone after the release of BlackBerry Priv. In 2015, the company released Priv at an ambitious price tag. However, we can expect a competitive pricing for DTEK60.

On the specifications front, the BlackBerry DTEK60 features a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 16MP rear camera including a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, the forthcoming DTEK60 will also ship with dual firing stereo speakers, and a USB-C charging port.

We expect that BlackBerry DTEK60 could serve as a potential replacement for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. However, the DTEK60 will not be sufficient for gadget lovers who love S-Pen and a larger 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display.
