Huawei Mate 9 in purple surfaces in the official render

Huawei Mate 9

The Huawei Mate 9 is scheduled to be launched on November 3. According to Evan Blass aka @evleaks, the single image depicts the flat-screened Manhattan version.

With just few weeks away for the official launch, we have been witnessing leaks on the rumor mills. There are reports that the company will release premium dual-curved Long Island model. However, you can expect darker than the usual rose gold purplish tint.

We noticed few minor change in the recently released render. The lens properties have been relocated from the top to the side. Moreover, the presence of the Leica-branded dual-camera setup is very popular. However, we are unable to confirm the presence of Leica branded sensor on the recent render.

Talking about the specifications, Huawei Mate 9 will be equipped with a 6-inch Full HD display, Kirin 960 processor. We expect atleast 4GB RAM and 64GB itnernal storage along with regular camera features of 13MP rear sensor.

The main attraction of the Huawei Mate 9 will be the integration of Type-C USB port on the bottom. We can clearly view the port on the leaked render. Good news is that Huawei has not eliminated the traditional headphone jack. The other hole seems to be too large and looks like a secondary mic.
