Sony has started to roll out new security update for Sony Xperia M4 Aqua smartphone. The update has started to hit all variants of the handset. Interestingly, the update moved the build number from 26.3.X.0.131 to 26.3.X.1.33.
The interesting point to note is that the Android security patches have been updated from April to July 2016. You will be able to receive updates across all six models of the Xperia M4 Aqua.
Sony is rolling out updates in phases. If you are unable to view the update then it will take some time for it to hit your phone. Alternatively, you can manually check for the update by navigating to your handset’s Settings menu.
