OnePlus 3T rumored to ship with a 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor

According to rumors, OnePlus 3T will be unveiled within the next few months. With model number A3010, the OnePlus 3T recently received a 3C certification. The cost of the phone will be bumped to $80 more.

If rumors are to be believed, the upcoming OnePlus 3T will have the same design as OnePlus 3 with minimum upgrade to the internals. Moreover, the phone will bear a new Sony IMX389 sensor with 16MP rear shooter. You can consider the $80 hike for these features.

There are reports that the OnePlus 3T will be equipped with a Snapdragon 821 processor by replacing Snapdragon 820 in the currently available OnePlus 3.

OnePlus 3T will be shipped with an LCD panel instead of AMOLED. However, OnePlus CEO Carl Pie has revealed that the company will be not discontinue Optic AMOLED for the upcoming new handsets.

Talking about the other specifications, the OnePlus 3T will ship with 6GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, a fingerprint sensor on the front and 8MP selfie camera. Powered by a 400mAh battery, the 4G-enabled phone will provide support for dash charge support. Based on several news on rumor mills, you can expect Android 7 Nougat.
