General Mobile has announced the launch of a new Android One smartphone powered by Android Nougat. Touted as GM 5, the phone is loaded with the latest Android 7 OS. This means this phone will be the first ever Nougat powered Android One smartphone.
On the specifications front, the GM 5 features a 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage. The rear camera offers a 13MP sensor, while the front-facing snapper is equipped with a 5MP sensor. A 2500mAh battery completes the package.
With a thickness of 9.3mm and weigt of 160 grams, the GM 5 will be available in Golden, Space Gray, and Black color variants.
The new smartphone will be available from December. To begin with the phone will be available in Azerbaijan, Albania, Afghanistan, Belgium, Bosnia, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Iraq, Kenya, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Pakistan, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
