Samsung Galaxy Note 7 owners in Canada who purchased the phone from an unauthorized Canadian carrier or retailer can be able to exchange for either a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge. According to sources, Samsung will replace Note 7 with Galaxy S7 or edge variant directly.
Even if you don’t have a bill or invoice, you will be eligible to avail the exchange. If you are eligible, you will receive a self addressed box to return the Note 7 handset.
However, it will take two to four weeks for the exchange process to get completed. This means it will take nearly one month to receive a new phone from Samsung.
