Samsung has launched frontier and classic variant of the Gear S3 smartwatch globally. According to sources, the Tixen-powered smartwatch is on sale in its home country of South Korea. Moreover, the smartwatch is expected to launch in several other emerging markets within a week.
The newly launched Samsung Gear S3 will be available in the UK, France, Germany, the US, Australia, Dubai and Singapore from November 18. However, the Samsung Pay on the smartwatch is only available in the US, Australia and Singapore.
Talking about the features, the Samsung Gear S3 frontier has optional LTE connectivity. However, the S3 classic offers only Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity.
The frontier and classic variants ships with integrated GPS, heart rate sensors and IP68 waterproof functionality. The frontier model make use of an embedded SIM to enable you to verify your carrier for support.
