WhatsApp for Windows Phone v2.16.288 has been released with major improvements, features and bug fixes. The latest WhatsApp for Windows Phone v2.16.288 provides an ability to make and receive video calls including drawing on images.

You will be able to update WhatsApp directly from the Windows Store. If you inspect the changelog, you will be able to view a number of new features that have been already included with the beta builds.

The latest release provides support for video calls. The call button displays options for both voice and video calls. You can make use of the rear camera to mute the call.

The main attraction of WhatsApp build 2.16.288 is the ability to draw on pictures. If you had worked with Snapchat, you will know about this feature. You can place emoticons and add content to images before sending them. The update also adds several enhancements to the UI, which includes performance improvements and bug fixes.
