Motorola Moto Z and Moto Z Force adds Daydream VR update with Android Nougat update

Motorola has announced global roll-out of Android Nougat update for Moto Z and Moto Z Force. According to Motorola, the rollout of OTA update will begin by the end of this week.

Moreover, with the introduction of the latest update, the Moto Z and Moto Z Force handsets will be compatible with Google’s Android-powered VR platform Daydream. Hence, the handsets will be the first to be equipped with Daydream functionality. If you look at other third-party manufacturers none of them has integrated Daydream functionality.

In a statement, Motorola disclosed that Daydream offers an unprecedented opportunity to dive into a kaleidoscope of experiences. You will be able to experience new scenes, attend events including the ability to create your own personal cinema.

To take full advantage of Google Daydream, you need access to VR headset and Daydream View controller, which is available with Verizon, Best Buy and the Google Store across the United States.
