Android 7.1.1 Nougat expected to rollout to Nexus handsets on December 6

The Android 7.1.1 Nougat is expected to hit Nexus smartphones on December 6. If rumors are to be believed, you can expect the release of the final version of Android 7.1.1 for Huawei Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 5X, Pixel C, Motorola Nexus 6, HTC Nexus 9 and Asus Nexus Player.

Previously, it was rumored that the recently released Nexus gadgets will receive Android 7.1 Nougat. The rumors got a boost when Vodafone Australia revealed that the Nexus 6P will get an OTA update starting December 6.

We expect that the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update will be rolled out to Nexus 5X and Pixel C handsets on December 6. You can also expect an update for 6P on that date.

There are reports that the Android One handsets will also be refreshed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OTA. You can expect the addition of Daydream VR but due to hardware compatibility it will not find the light.

You can also expect the addition of a new circular icon and long press app shortcut menu. Moreover, you can also expect the integration of a storage manager and image plus GIF support for the AOSP keyboard.
