The smartphone sales of Huawei in Latin America has hit 10 million landmark. The disclosure was done by the company’s Senior Vice President Yu Chengdong. He along with popular football player Lionel Messi shared a celebrity posted on the social media to announce the news.
Huawei is planning to expand its presence in South America. This is evident from the fact that the company has announced that it will open additional 1500 retail stores in the market by the end of 2016. With only 32 days left for 2016 to end, it remains to be see as to how this will be possible.
Recently, Huawei announced that the company managed to see more than 9 million units of its newly launched P9 handset around the world.
