Samsung Galaxy Note 5 recently surfaced on GFXBench. Do you know which platform the phone was running? Yes. You guessed it right. The handset was spotted running Android 7.0 Nougat, which is the latest bit from Google.
According to reports, Android Nougat was added as a supported OS for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on GFXBench. Whatever may be, we don’t have any official confirmation about the expected launch date.
Meanwhile, Samsung has not yet made clear as to whether the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will get an update to Android 6.0 Nougat in the forseeable future.
Industry analysts are of the opinion that Samsung would not release Android 7 for Galaxy Note 5 till the official release of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. We don’t have any other way than to sit and wait for the official announcement.
