Android 7.0 Nougat has hit LG G5 in Europe and Brazil. Recently, an update was rolled out for customers based in South Korea and the United States. The Android Nougat update measures around 1.5GB in size with version number – V20a-NOV-17-2016.
According to customers based in Europe and Brazil, Android Nougat update has rolled out to LG G5. They are able to view messages, which prompts them to install update.
In November, LG had announced the roll out of Android Nougat update for LG G5. In the US, all major mobile service providers such as T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint including US Cellular have pushed Android 7.0 Nougat update for LG G5.
On the specifications front, the LG G5 features a 5.3-inch IPS QHD Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display, Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 graphics, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage. The phone features a dual camera sensor consisting of 16MP and 8MP sensors.
The handset features an 8MP front-facing snapper. The 2800 mAh battery included with the LG G5 is capable of charging fast within 30 minutes. The handset is available in Silver, Titan, Gold, and Pink color variants.
