Aircel has launched a new three month on-net unlimited calls package for Rs. 148 for customers based in Delhi and NCR. As per the plan, you will be eligible to avail unlimited free data usage, voice calls and SMS to other major networks for Rs. 148.
In a statement issued to the press, Aircel disclosed that customers will be able to enjoy free Aircel to Aircel (Local and STD) in addition to Free Aircel to others (local and STD with a free usage of 15,000 seconds (250 minutes) per month for three months for 90 days with the first recharge of Rs. 148.
Commenting on the development, Harish Sharma, Aircel Regional Manager – North revealed that the recent drop in the market price of smartphones has led to a tremdendous explosion in the market share of handsets. He pointed out that many people are making effective use of voice calling including Internet packages offered by the company.
The company considers the importance of a fully loaded combo packages in the near future by taking into account the growing trend among customers. According to telecom analysts, Aircel has launched the new plan to combat Reliance Jio.
Moreover, customers will be able to get unlimited 2G data for one month in addition to voice calling. The catch is that there is a fair usage policy with 500MB. As a customer, you will have to recharge for minimum of Rs. 50 in 2nd and 3rd month to continue with the benefits offered under the call.
