Xiaomi is expected to unveil Mi electric car or bike at an event to be held on December 12. Branded under the Mi Ecosystem, there are conflicting rumors about the fact that the upcoming gadget could be Mi electric car or bike.
The teaser released by Xiaomi showcases a car tier marking. Hence, we can infer that the upcoming product should be a vehicle. The teaser also includes few content in a slanting angle.
After dissecting the Chinese language teaser, we under stood that the upcoming product will be equipped with E-ABS anti- lock braking system, brake energy recovery, cruise control. Moreover, the vehicle will have perforated brake discs and one- piece die cast motors.
In fact, Xiaomi released the first teaser which states that the vehicle will have a hot-melt pneumatic tires. However, the teaser was removed and a new one was uploaded on its place.
In June 2016, Xiaomi had released QiCycle, which is the first folding electric bike in China with IPX5 water resistant body. However, in 2015, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun disclosed that the company will not release electric cars in the near future.
It seems that Xiaomi had changed the mind. Sometimes, the company will introduce a new concept similar to that of the LeEco LeSEE driverless electric car. Anyway, we have to no other option than to wait and watch until the launch event is completed.
