ZTE had announced the roll out of Android Nougat preview program, which is applicable for ZTE Axon 7 smartphone users in the United States. Hence, if you have access to Axon 7 handset with model number A2017U, you will be eligible to participate in the Android Nougat preview program. Moreover, you should be located in the United States
To join Android Nougat preview program, you need to create an account at ZTE US Community. After that, you should complete the registration application.
You will be able to participate in the application process only after you sign in to your Google account. You need to provide name, Z-Community username, registered Z-Community email address, phone number, address and IMEI number of the phone.
Although the company is currently accepting applications, we don’t have any credible information about when the Axon 8 preview build will be available.
There are reports that an update will be pushed before the end of January. We will continue to monitor the developments and update you in case if we have any information.
