Samsung Pay expected to launch in India by the end of Q1 2017

Samsung Pay is expected to launch in India before the end of Q1 2017. Recently, the premium mobile payments service of the popular smartphone manufacturer hit the shores of Malaysia. However, the service is in beta mode.

According to latest reports, the Samsung Pay will be launch in another Asian country soon. We don’t have any official confirmation from the company, although we spotted several rumors. If at all Samsung launches it Pay service, you can expect it in March 2017.

Based on credible reports, the company is currently testing the Samsung Pay service in India. However, since there is no official confirmation, you should accept these facts only with a pinch of salt.

There are reports that Samsung Pay will launch in the UK first before making its entry into the Indian territory. As of writing this, Samsung Pay is only available in the US and Korea as per the official portal. We are unable to access the site from India.

The rumored launch of Samsung Pay assumes great significance in the wake of recent demonetization initiative of old Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currencies by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
