Honor is expected to conduct a special preview a new smartphone in India on December 23. The company has started to mail media invites to journalists and press. Moreover, the special preview event in India are held well ahead of the global launch. This will give an opportunity for tech enthusiasts to test drive the new smartphone.

Even though the media invite doesn’t reveal much information, the upcoming handset will feature two rear-facing camera sensors. However, the upcoming smartphone will be a mid-end budget device.

According to sources, the forthcoming Honor smartphone will be globally unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) scheduled to be held in Las Vegas. Moreover, the new handset will be launched in India by the end of January.

In 2016, Honor created a huge buzz and momentum in the Indian market by releasing a wide range of smartphone integrated with dual cameras. The Huawei P9 and the Honor 8 make use of a rear camera mechanism. The one camera captures a black-and-white image, while the front-facing snapper captured coloured photograph.

We are eager to wait and watch till Honor provides any credible update.
