Honor has established a strategic partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), India’s apex industry body for fashion, as a part of the Honor League. The new partnership will see Honor and FDCI come together for the much awaited fashion extravaganza – the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2017.
As part of the Honor League, brands will collaborate with digital talent across travel, fashion, photography and technology sectors to encourage the youth in their brave endeavor.
The brand will run a social media contest ‘Hunt for the Face of Honor’ in association with FDCI and Instagram where aspiring models can share their views on why they feel their style represents their swag quotient.
The contest will shortlist 26 young aspiring models who will be given Honor’s Mystery Swag phone. The contest will also give 6 lucky winners a chance to be a part of the Honor Show at the Amazon Indian Fashion Week.
Commenting on the launch, Sunil Sethi, President FDCI revealed that style has a universal language, but the key really lies in, who can translate it to create an impact. It is a challenging idea which will see sumptuous responses from tech-savvy millennials.
Responding to media, P. Sanjeev, Vice President, Huawei Consumer Business Group disclosed that the company is excited to be associated with an apex body like the FDCI. When it comes to fashion, FDCI is a renowned name and our association enables the youth to bring their talent to the forefront.
