T-Mobile rolls out December security patch for Samsung Galaxy J7

T-Mobile has started to roll out a new update to Samsung Galaxy J7 smartphone available on the network. Tagged with version J700TUVU2APK6 with a weight of 246.70MB, the latest update provides several Android security bug fixes for the month of December.

The latest T-Mobile update to Samsung Galaxy J7 provides improvements to domestic data roaming and IPv4 over LTE international roaming. If you are facing any of these problems then you can expect a fix by the installation of the update.

By default, you will receive an update notification via OTA in a phased manner. However, if you are not interested to wait, you can manually verify for the existence of the update by tapping the Settings menu.

Before starting the update process, you need to make sure that your battery is charged to 50 percent or higher. Moreover, you should switch off Data connectivity.

To update via OTA, you need to tap Settings icon from the home display. After that, you need to tap About device, Download updates manually, OK and then Start option. You will view a restart message option.

You need to tap OK to proceed with the update process. Alternatively, you can also update from your computer by following the instructions on the official T-Mobile support page.
