Xiaomi Mi Mix is expected to receive Android Nougat update within the next few days. With Xiaomi Mi 5 already received the Android Nougat update, the Chinese-based company has confirmed the other smartphones which will most likely to get the update in the near future.
According to the latest reports, the Mi Mix is in the list of those handsets to get Android Nougat update. We can confirm that the phone will receive Android Nougat update within the next few days.
Based on the information available on MIUI forums, the Xiaomi Mi Mix will soon get the Android 7.0 update. However, we don’t have any credible information about the estimated time frame.
On the specifications segment, the Mi Mix features a 6.4-inch border-less display with 2040×1080 resolution. If you have access to Mi Mix, you will receive the update in beta mode. Hence, you will be able to experience the update only if you opt-in to the beta program.
You can expect the rollout of Android Nougat for Mi Mix before the end of January. The handset has not yet released in India and hence there is no relevance. However, if you go the phone from China, we don’t have any clear indication as to when you will get an update. Alternatively, you can verify for the existence of the update by navigating to the Tools section and tapping Updater icon.
