Sony Xperia X and X Compact gets better with new update

Within days after the release of Android Nougat update, Sony has rolled out an update for Xperia X and X Compact smartphones. The latest version with build 34.2.A.0.273 is said to ship with few minor bug fixes and enhancements. However, we don’t have access to the official change log from the company.

Like all other OTA updates, it will take few days for you to receive the new update if you have access to Sony Xperia X and X Compact smartphones. Alternatively, you can also verify for the existence of the update manually by tapping the Settings menu.

On the specifications front, the Sony Xperia X features a 5.5-inch IPS FHD Triluminos display, Snapdragon 650 processor, Adreno 510 graphics, 3GB RAM, up to 64GB internal storage loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

While the rear camera is equipped with 23MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, the front-facing shooter bears a massive 13MP sensor. A 2620mAh battery with fast charging support completes the package. According to reports, the handset is capable of charging 60 percent in 30 minutes.

The Sony Xperia X Compact is almost same as Xperia X except the fact that it has a 4.6-inch display, 5MP front camera and an enhanced 2700mAh battery with fast charging support.
