Yi Technology to showcase Yi 4K+ action camera and Yi Erida Drone at CES 2017

Xiaomi-backed Yi Technology is expected to showcase new action camera and drone at CES 2017. Touted as a direct competitor to GoPro, Yi Technology has announced that the company will launch the Yi 4K+ action camera.

The upcoming action camera will enable you to capture 4K images and videos at 60fps. Moreover, the Yi Erida drone also to be launched during CES 2017 is the world’s largest tricopter.

The main highlight of the new action camera is its ability to capture 4K footage at double the frame rate of oter competing cameras. Hence, it will be interesting to wait and watch the launch of the new camera at CES 2017. Talking about the specifications, the action camera features a 2.19-inch display with the capability to deliver 2 hours of battery life. It will also provide support for streaming videos over Wi-Fi.

Manufactured in partnership with Atlas Dynamics, the Yi Erida Drone features full carbon-fibre. According to sources, the drone has a capability to reach upto 75MPH for upto 40 minutes. This is made possible due to lightweight frame and design.
An interesting point to note is that you can control the dron via the Yi Erida mobile app. The drone ships with an integrated touchscreen camera with up to 120 minutes of recording time.

In addition to the Yi 4K+ action camera and Yi Erida drone, the Yi Technology will also showcase home security cameras, dash camera including the YI M1 professional grade mirrorless camera during CES 2017.
