The renders of the rumored BlackBerry Mercury smartphone has leaked again in the form of a tweet by the popular tipster Roland Quandt. An interesting point to note is that a screenshot of Android 7.0 Nougat loaded on the upcoming handset with code name BBB100-x has been leaked. The leak also confirms that the display will be equipped with a resolution of 1620×1080 pixels at a pixel density of 420PPI.

As you can see from the above tweet, the screenshot was captured on December 15 at 5.13. You can clearly see the Getting Started icon along with other standard icons on the bottom. We infer that Android 7.0 Nougat includes a documentation to enable you to learn the concepts easily.
If you inspect the comments section from the above tweet, you will be able to guess that the new handset will be initially available in Indonesia. Moreover, the new smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor even though rumors revealed that the new phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 821 processor.
Some of the other possible rumors are the integration of a 4.5-inch display, a large capacity battery capable of delivering two days of backup. The main highlight of BlackBerry Mercury is the addition of a physical QWERTY keyboard. However, the recent leak signals a slightly different design that the renders from the previous release.
Based on the available reports, the BlackBerry Mercury will hit the US coast via Verizon. As of this writing, we don’t have any confirmation about the expected launch date of the new smartphone in India.
