Microsoft Surface Pro 5

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 with 4K display expected to hit retail shelves in March 2017

Microsoft is gearing up to launch Surface Pro 5 with 4K display before the end of March 2017. Hence, if the rumors turns out to be true, you can expect the arrival of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 before the end of Q1 2017. In addition to 4K display, the Surface pro 5 will be equipped with a magnetic charging stylus.

In June, we heard that Surface Pro 5 launch will be delayed till Spring 2017. The main reason for the delay was attributed to the integration of Intel Kaby Lake processors. Microsoft was keen to infuse Intel 7th Gen processors since it draws less power. Furthermore, the new processors will yield massive battery life than the previous counterparts.

As of this writing, manufacturers have started to push laptops with the new Intel Kaby Lake processors. In all probability, you can expect Surface Pro 5 to ship with Intel Kaby Lake. Otherwise, the expensive tablet is of no use.

Based on available reports, Pegatron Technology has been assigned the task to manufacture Microsoft Surface Pro 5. The tablet will start at a price of $899. However, if you would like to buy Surface Pro 5 with 4K display, then you need to invest more money. According to sources, you need to pay $1599 for the Surface tablet with 4K display.
